Clyde Walters has been a resident of Brownstown for 32 years and has served as a commissioner for the Board of Review, Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Commission over the last 17 years. He is also involved with the Brownstown Democratic Club, Michigan Democratic Party and is a member of Our Lady of the Woods parish and ushers club, Flat Rock Elks Lodge, Woodhaven Moose, Downriver Irish American Club and Masonic Lodge and Shriner.

He and his wife Eva have been married for 34 years with two children and he is currently enjoying retirement from Ford Motor Company.
