E-Light Program

New Traffic Intersection Visual Warning Devices were recently installed at the intersections of Telegraph and Sibley and Sibley and Allen. These Visual Warning Devices called E-Lights are activated automatically by Township Emergency response units while responding through these intersections on the way to emergency incidents. The Visual Warning devices are installed adjacent to the regular intersection traffic signals and when activated due to an approaching emergency vehicles flash a yellow illuminated symbol of a fire truck to which helps to warn motorist of these approaching emergency units.
