Animal Complaints & Pickup

Animal complaints about pets or wildlife may be made directly to the Animal Shelter at (734) 675-4008 during regular business hours or by telephoning Central Dispatch at (734) 675-1300 evening, weekend and holiday. Like the Humane Society, Animal Shelter Officers house and care for stray animals, but only those picked up or given up in Brownstown Township. If no one is in the office when you call, please leave a detailed message with the time you called, location, & nature of complaint. If it is an emergency, please call Central Dispatch at (734) 675-1300.
